"Supposedly" our house was shown this AM. We did not see any signs of anyone being here though. I think I can log on to a website and see if they sent any comments. Hmm wonder what I put that email about doing that?

Got any fun plans for the weekend?
While I am not sure all our plans I know today we are headed downtown San Antonio to the Home and Garden Show.(WOW I just read Pay once - and come back free all weekend long so hm maybe I will go more then once if I cannot remember something I wanted to LOL But then I have to pay for parking each time..ugh) I am just waiting for Joe to get home from his last shift with Nurses In Touch here in Floresville. Woo hoo though we still have 2 checks coming from there. The extra money was nice while it last. Once he gets settled in to his new NICU job he might look for a home health agency in and around Victoria to do a few shifts a month at.

The move is progressing a bit better then the other day. We are just not happy with our service the bank has given us. The appraisal is getting done today I think and it is being rushed to get it done by Tues. when we are to close. IF the loan officer would of gotten it ordered sooner all would be fine and dandy. (well better atleast LOL)
Joe told me last night to stop worrying and that he has never let me down before and he will make this work. LOL It is him that really wants the house so I hope for him it works out.
If not I told him we will just go to Victoria and find a RV park to stay out 3 nights a week while he works there. We could even go stay in Port Lavaca on the gulf :-) That sounds fun for a bit as long as there is no hurricane coming :-)
Next week we will know what the plan is.....

No showings yet, they will come, not discouraged yet.

It is payday for us. Man I just love paydays til you open the checkbook to start paying bills :-( All is fine though :-)

Well not sure if we are moving to Cuero after all right this second. Our loan officer is an idiot and things all a mess. We will know next week for sure. If it does not work out then it was not meant to be and we go on to the next plan. Atleast it got us to put this house in Floresville on the market finally and atleast getting us moving towards being out of this house.
Life will work out the way it is meant to be I guess.

Joe is working on his camaro. Yep you read that right Dad :-) I doubt he will get too far on it but one never knows.

Oops here is Joe I will write again soon...we are off to get gas for the camaro :-)

SOLD

Woo hoo bet you thought it was the house that was sold.....sigh....nope but did sell my living room couch and love seat. I am such a sucker I even lowered the price for the nice lady. She sounded like her life was more hectic then mine :-) They are coming tomorrow night to get it. Hm I am looking around to see what else we can sell. LOL I tried to sell (and give away) Christina but gosh darn it no one wants her ;-)

Joe is back in the NICU this evening. Him and Christina were talking today and he took care of some girls baby that Christina knows. I guess she has another girl she knows that is due to have a baby soon at Joe's hospital. Would be weird if Joe had to take care of that baby too.

Supposed to be warm the next few days. Too bad my legs are hairy and white I could put shorts on LOL

Waiting to hear from my cousins in St Louis about a family reunion this summer. Sure hope we can work out that we can go....hard when Joe is just starting a new job. Maybe I can catch a good deal on plane tickets. Sure would be a lot quicker and give us a tad bit more time there. We shall see.

Weekend

I tried to write a nice long post last night but the computer did not allow me to, it had it's own agenda :-( So I shall try again.

Friday Joe's class only took a few hours so we were able to head to Cuero around 1. We both made it safe in our vehicles (Joe in RV with enclosed trailer behind and I in the truck with a tad bit of stuff in the back). Brice's step dad Barry let us leave all at his business which is right down the road from Scary House as I call it :-) We ended up spending the night in the RV there. Joe and a few of the guys worked on Brice's car while I sat in the RV and read a book :-) Aw heaven!
Later in the evening we went out to dinner with 2 other couples and 2 single guys. They are all way younger then us and crazy as can be. We had a lot of laughs :-)

Saturday we got up and went into Victoria to check out this Surplus Warehouse I had seen a sign for. Then just checked out what else was around. While it is not a huge town it is a nice size town, the size sorta reminds of us Topeka. We sure won't miss the San Antonio traffic. It seems every day it gets worse.
Once back in Cuero we met up with Brice and his step dad Barry and went to a little Mexican restaurant. They ate and we just had a drink and a few nachos as we were not really hungry.
We then walked across the street to Brice's moms boutique. We had never seen it yet. Cute little place, she has a ton of stuff in there plus 4 tanning beds. She keeps hinting that I need to work for her when we get settled. She also has a friend too she has mentioned might want help. ACK who said I wanted a job? LOL

Later home we went as Joe needed to nap and then off to work he went. :-) He worked the ICU last night and the next 3 nights he has to work the NICU. He will be pooped by Wednesday AM.

OH I also went to the city hall to see how much it was going to cost to have the electricity and such turned on. WHAT a shock....only $100 total for 4 different services! Sounds like a good deal to me. I asked the lady how much she thought it would cost monthly and she said "oh maybe $200 total" WHAT??????????? I pay more then that in just electricity most months. Yes, once we get the house here in Floresville sold we are going to have a ton of money to dump into the new house, travel, or ? LOL Now let's hope we like it there. I have gotten really comfortable here in Floresville so a bit nervous to move. It will all work out in the end as Joe and I can adapt anywhere we go.

Busy weekend we had!

Nothing much

Joe should be home any time now. He had 5 patients to see today. He is not working at Nurses in Touch tomorrow as he has a class as Southwest General. I think it is a class to renew a certificate or something. We are hoping it does not take all day. Normally they are done way earlier then they are scheduled.

Sun shining again today. Definitely not super warm but not cold either :-) TV says it is 63*.

We have not shown the house yet.....
BUT Joe was just on the phone with our friend/neighbor Mark and I guess some guy he works with heard about the house (from Mark) and drove by this weekend. Now they supposedly want to see it. I am not going to hold my breath but man wouldn't that be so nice if they wanted to buy it?? Sure would be a load off our shoulders!!!!

Joe is having a time adjusting to the higher dose of his Coreg. He is tired and little appetite :-( It will take him a week or so to get use to it.

I had to cancel Christina's appt for tomorrow. She has had a neck problem gosh for almost 2 weeks now. I was thinking it was just her normal problem she gets when she has big sinus issues but it has last longer this time. So I got worried and told her she NEEDS to see if she can get in tomorrow. I will call and reschedule her wisdom teeth appt tomorrow. Joe is already having a fit that it NEEDS to get done. Lucky him though as I will be the one who has to deal with her when they do come out and she has to be the whinest patient there is. UGH

Sunday

Joe and I are just pooped tonight. Not sure why I am but know Joe is as he did not get much sleep today when he came home from work. He will go to bed early (soon)

We had a really nice afternoon. We went over to the Kinser's house to enjoy watching Daytona 500 with them :-) We had some yummy food and great company! We were all a bit disappointed in the end of the race as it got rained out. Atleast Busch did not win! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joe did not have to work tonight so it is a nice relaxing afternoon/evening for him. I think he needed it.

Tomorrow I want to run into SA to the tile and decor store. Just want to see what they have. Not sure what else we will do. I think Joe does work tomorrow night. He will work Home Health I guess now Wed and Thurs then Friday he has a class at South West General hospital so no home health.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S Day!!!

We are busy busy here!

Joe worked at home health yesterday. Woo hoo he was done by noon. I think he will work 3 days there next week to but we shall see. If Christina is doing ok with her wisdom teeth removal pain he can go to work. LOL If not HE can take care of her :-)

We finished staining the deck. May not look the best but definitely a lot better then it did. We need to move the furniture back on there. I had hoped to use the pressure washer on the furniture but today is not to be as warm. We shall see this afternoon.

Last night we buzzed into Cuero. Brice had picked up the race car tires on his way home from Houston so Joe just had to run right over there to get them. I guess there was a mistake with the company sending the tires so these are free and we have to wait for the correct ones to come in.

We then went out to dinner with Brice and his friends Ronnie & Ashley. This time we ate at a Mexican resteraunt in Cuero. It is a small town and not much to choose from. We had a buffet and it had some YUMMY stuffed crab! I could of just ate those LOL

Joe is headed to the scrap metal dump in a few mins. He had borrowed Ed's little trailer and has it filled with stuff. I am sure he has a ton more he could get rid of. LOL I am sure when we move out of here he will wish he got rid of more :-)

When he gets back I guess we will run an errand or two then home to nap as Joe has to work in the ICU tonight.

No deck got stained today just ran out of time....darn LOL
I did get a few groceries and a hair cut.

Christina came over for a tad today. Her front brakes needed some TLC. I ran and got new brake pads while Joe did ??? to the car. I will see her again tomorrow as she needs me to take her in to San Antonio. Fun fun! Patience Michelle patience!

Deacon

Can you believe Deacon is at the age to be potty trained? Seems like yesterday I was waiting in the waiting room a mess worrying. He will be two in May! Time flies when you are older LOL

Realtor was here. I guess it went ok. He told me that I needed to lighten the living room and dining room area up so I took down the blinds and the heavy valances that were a burgundy color. I will see tomorrow how much that helped. I guess tomorrow a lady will come and take some pictures and get the house keys since we had no idea where they were when he was here LOL We just never unlock a door with a key. If we are both gone at the same time for a long period of time we go through the garage. Thankfully I did find some and ran to Walmart to get a few copies made. I still need to get some of the back door as they were out of that key at our little ole Walmart.

Tomorrow lucky me gets to finish staining the back deck. Joe started it earlier today but ran out of time. While it does not look perfect it sure looks better. Wonder what project he will find for me to do next??? I think I will have enough every day cleaning the house incase someone comes to see it.

I am so thinking that we need to move into the RV NOW, have someone come clean this house good and then come in every so often to do touch up cleaning. I so hate cleaning!!!!

We have a realtor coming today, finally. How I dread this!

Joe mowed the brown grass yesterday, well the front. I must admit it does look some better. Today he is staining the fence. The back deck needs done too. Why he has waited so long I do not know...I guess because he did not want to do it. LOL Well I am not helping today as I have nice clothes on and I am pooped from cleaning. Mean me!

Sunny here today but a little breeze which makes it feel cool if you are in the shade. A big storm front came through last night and it looks like we got a tad bit of rain. LOL Joe had to hop out of bed as the TV was saying hail maybe and our truck now sits outside since boxes and such are taking up the garage. (can hardly get through there now)

I guess since it is almost noon I will see if Joe wants some lunch. I know I am starving and that he ate early this AM before he went to see him home health patients so sure he is hungry.

Gosh we have had a ton of wind this weekend. I finally pulled my hair back in a lovely ponytail as I was just sick of it being in my face.

Joe's interview went good. We shall see. They did not talk pay, I guess that happens if they offer him a position. Hospital seemed ok to me. Was a busy place that was for sure. There are a few other places he may apply too.

I have to run some errands in the AM while Joe is sleeping. I will probably ride with him when he takes his paperwork to Nurses in Touch on his patients. Then off to work he goes again :-)

I am sad.....my cousins had a party for my cousins 40th birthday and we did not go. LOL Of course it did not help when she text me the night of the party saying how she missed us :-( We just love going to St Louis and seeing the cousins!

Off to do my checkbook...UGH

Busy day

Phew been a busy day for us. Joe left this AM as he had a few patients to see and then an afternoon meeting.
I went to the bank, the hospital to set up my appointments (gosh not til next month), get my blood work done, have the truck washed, lunch and a bit of shopping. I think it is nap time now LOL

Christina might stop over in a bit. We shall see.

We are up and going early tomorrow as Joe has 5 patients to see plus we have a meeting in Victoria at 3:30. Oh my.....busy busy

Ditz

I am such a ditz! I had a dr appt yesterday and when I was done I was supposed to go make 2 appts and get some blood work done. Well duhhhhh I walked out of the hospital, got in the truck and left without making appts. Oops....guess when I am by there next I will buzz in and do that.

Our hospital is really gearing up for the new towers we will have eventually. Employees cannot even park at the hospital anymore but are bussed in from a parking lot up on Ft Sam. I bet that is a pain for them. Seems I read it will be a 2 yr project! Yikes! The have taken over 1/2 the parking spaces it seems to start the project. I will be anxious to see the end results. They are redoing out other military hospital too.

Joe is out back messing with his race car. He works tomorrow and Friday at Nurses in Touch (home health). Sounds as if tomorrow he will have 4 patients of his own, has to go to another patients with Hector so he can see how things are done on this certain patient and then a meeting at 1:30. Busy day for him!
As for me...I think I will go run a few errands :-)

Joe's muga scan went well. It took about 2 hours total.
While nothing is official yet they seem to think that is % is now 43%. When he last saw the cardiologist they were saying 37%. So while that is not where it should be to me it makes me feel so much better. Hopefully things will improve a bit more.
Now we wait to see what they think needs to be done. Joe was saying he was wondering at what % they will really consider doing the pacemaker. We shall see

Joe is at work tonight in the NICU.
When he gets up tomorrow some guys are coming to buy the treadmill and the jet skis :-) Woo hoo! Got more stuff I want him to get rid of so we shall see how much more he can get rid of.

Grrr there goes the dogs barking again. Last night the one next door barked for like 3 hours. So annoying! Shanni is pretty good and only barks when someone is outside in our yard. Sometimes she will bark a few other times but normally she is pretty good.

I am off to watch a bit of tv and pray I can go to sleep tonight early. Last night I think it was 3 Am. It is just crazy how I am having such issues. I guess soon I will have to go see the dr about it if things do not improve.

Test day

Today is Muga Test day for Joe. He has to be there by 1. LOL Not sure who has it worse...him doing the test or me waiting out in the waiting room. He has worked the last 2 nights so he said he will sleep through it. Ya right Joseph....he is so nosey when he is in the hospital I know that is not going to happen.
Not sure how long it will take to get the results. Keep your fingers crossed things look good...or better I will take :-)

Windy as can be here today. The sun is shining bright though :-)

We listed 5 items on craigslist last night. My goodness Joe's cell phone has been ringing off the hook. In about 50 mins or so 2 guys are to show up for 2 different items. I think Joe said 2 are coming tomorrow too for 2 other items. I have a few more items I am going to post on there. Man if I sold everything in my house I wonder how much I could make? LOL Hey I bet I can find a man on there for Christina :-) LOL
